Question:

I think I have genital warts. i have never had sex with a girl but the bumps on the shaft of my penis look like they could be warts. sometimes i can squeeze a very little bit of white stuff out of the bumps, but they dont seem to go away. could they still be warts. and also i recently met a girl and we have been talking. i really think we might be going out soon, but i dont know if i should tell her now or before we have sex. any suggestions?

do her hard and ask if she thinks the bumps are warts while you are doing it!! haha

Put yourself at ease and go see a doctor.

I think it sounds like an ingrown hair of some sort of pore clogging.

Go to the doc, take an hour of your day and save yourself and the girl a whole lot of worrying and hassle!

Take care.

i just wanted to let you know, that i''m haveing the same problem. i've been really worried about it, an i'm getting serious with a girl i've known for a few years now. an I dont want to pass something on to her (NOBODY DISERVES THAT!). BUT the truth is, after looking at pictures of warts (what i have doesnt look like that). so i went to the doctor, becuse i was concerned, maybe it was something more. the doc was old, an had many many years of experince, with porblems with STD's, and things of the sort. and though i've had unprotected sex before, he said its not an STD! but he couldnt be sure exactly what it was. so i got bummed about that. and finally i broke down an told my best friend about it. he laughed, an discribed (very vividly) what it looks like without even seeing it. he said he has them (a lot of guys do). all they are, are sweat bumps. or cloged pores. and even though sometimes they dont go away. THEY ARE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! i just have to say its a big relife to know that i'm not the only one with the same problem. just make sure you DONT SQUEEZE THEM. it'll just make it worse, an cause a more serious problem. well, good luck. i hope i helped ease your mind a little bit about it. just relax, an make sure you tell your girl. sometime before you have sex. she'll respect your integrty.

You have sebaceous prominence. Do not worry.

if you have little white bumps on that area that never go away you should go get check, dont have sex with anyone till then if it say that you have genital warts you shouldnt have sex, because you will spread it to her since its skin to skin.please be sure to let you partner know that your not sure of it yet.DONT HAVE SEX TILL YOUR SURE AND YOUR ARE POSTIVE STILL DONT HAVE SEX

I would definately make sure that you can trust the girl before you go telling anyone about having genetal bumps. If you do decide to have sex with her, you must tell her. It''s the rule "do on to others as you would have them do on to you." I would want to know. You may lose the realtionship, but in my mind, at least you could sleep at night knowing that you aren't part of the genetal wart spread problem (if you really do have them). It sounds like i have the same problem and I haven't got it checked out yet. I recently had unprotected sex and i feel awful about it. If he catches something he'll know for sure where he got it. I think that this is probably be the worst out come, all for not being honest. P.S. Be brave don't be ashamed (it's not rare)and have the doctor check it out. It's a very small amount of time in your life to spare, when considering that the answer could free you from worrying for the rest of you life, right?

these are normal sebum glands, you are fine

Get them checked out first. Genital warts are not only contracted by sex, but it is the most common way. They can also be transmitted through towels, or anything that touches infected areas and then an uninfected person. So, my advice is to find out what it is and if you do have HPV, tell the girl when the subject of sex comes up, not at the start of "talking" or in the heat of the moment.

6/7/2005

!

I dont know much about genital warts, but, do not have sex with her, until you REALLY know what it is. For your health and her health. Go to your nearest doctor and have an std check up.

11/26/2005

!

Well if you never had sex befor I dont think it could be genital warts, but i think just to be safe you could get checked out. i wouldnt worry about saying anything to this girl as long as you set up an appointment right away and get the results. but if you dont say anything to her befor you get the results make sure you dont have any skin to skin contact until you find out for sure. if it does come up positive you should let her know for sure, but if it comes up negative make sure you use the proper protection with anyone you sleep at least till you are sure that the person you are sleeping with is clean, and the only way of knowing that is if she gets tested also.

it might be moscullom contagiousum, which is curable and can often be mistaken for warts. go to planned parenthood, or your doctor ASAP and have a full STD check and mention that you''re unsure if it's moscullum or warts.

5/12/2006

!

that doesnt sound like genital warts. but just incase get checked and make sure you tell your girl.

6/10/2004

!

Best to tell her before you have sex and get the bumps looked at otherwise you''ll regret it later

7/26/2003

!

Best thing to do is just have sex with her. if she get''s them too then it must have been warts.
Good luck.

8/30/2005

!

I have the same thing... It''s relieving to find out its normal.. phew

7/21/2008

!

Make sure to get this condition checked, and if this is a normal condition than no worries. OTHERWISE, tell her BEFORE any sexual intimacy. If you don''t have the courage to say anything, DO NOT ENGAGE IN ANY SEXUAL ACTIVITY!!!!!

4/25/2004

!

sounds like sebaceous prominince dont worry too much its normal I have the same thing i wish i could get rid of it but apparently you cant but to be on the safe side go to your doctor or look on the uk student health site theres a photo which might help

12/5/2003

!

have sex anyway

11/15/2004

!

Sounds like Penile cysts which are normal and harmless and I have the same. Warts would be more of a cluster with no white stuff in them.

4/4/2004

!

DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH HER WITH OUT TELLING HER!!!

12/18/2003

!

I say, yes.. tell her before having sex with her, BUT ... put off having sex until you have been checked and are sure as to what is going on. You don''t want to make this a drama, but if you do find out you have an STD, then maybe wait and get to know her better before exposing that sort of personal information, hence.. put off the sex for a bit longer.. until you are sure of everything. Nevertheless... if you do have an STD, you have a legal obligation to tell any partner prior to having sex, otherwise you can have your ass dragged into a court case. Sad, but true. You see, the 'other person'.. has a right to know if you have an STD, as then they make the choice and any concequence that may occur, is therefore their own responsibility. Good luck and don't stress )

5/17/2006

!

If you have can squeeze something out of the lesion, it is not a wart. Rather, it is probably either hair follicles (the hair on the shaft of the penis is so fine it is hard to see with the naked eye) or a condition known as sebaceous prominence. Also, given the fact that you are a virgin, I am almost certain that this condition is not genital warts.

nothing you can do about them, pritti common. And you can''''t pass them on. Their just a normal feature of ur body, like a nose on ur face. So I wouldn''t even bother mentioning them unless shes asks.

go see a doctor and dont have sex with anyone before you do

4/5/2005

you need not to have sex with this girl and go get checked out first you don''t want to spread anything if you do have something. and then tell her how and why you can't have sex w/her.

4/16/2004

!

I think you should go to a clinic and get yourself checked before you do ANYTHING with her. I just have one little bump outside my vagina and I am so scared...I am going to get myself checked! You should seriously do the same thing, it''s the right thing to do.

11/22/2004

!

go to this website and see if the second picture looks similar to what you have described: http://www.studenthealth.co.uk/leaflets/NormalVariantsInAnogenitalSkin.htm

5/13/2004

!

They are probably just clogged pores or Pearly Penile Papules (PPP). I doubt it is anything to worry about, but if you are that nervous, have them chacked out. Don''t say anything to her before you see a doctor. Also, wash yourself more thoroughly there, that will help alleviate the problem if it is clogged pores.

5/15/2004

Best thing to do is just have sex with her. if she get''s them too then it must have been warts.
Good luck.

I THINK THAT IS PIMPLES

3/9/2006

!

You should go to the doctors and get checked out for that. You shouldn''t have sex with her if you think that you may have something ITS NOT RIGHT!!

8/20/2005

!

I would first go GET TESTED before you tell anyone anything. Right now it''s just your business because you're not sexually active with this girl. I'm not sure how old you are but you sound young, check out planned parenthood in your area. It's totally confidential and then LET HER KNOW if you do. But search online also and see if white puss comes out of them, I've never heard of that myself. Very mature though discussing telling her right away. =) Hope this was some help/

11/13/2006

!

A lot of men develop small bumps on their penis that LOOK like warts. If you have not had sex - you probably don''t have HPV. The best thing to do is monitor the bumps and if they get bigger or raised and flat, or califlourish, then it is warts

10/16/2003

!

These bumps sound like sabaceous cysts. They are very common and very normal, nothing to worry about. But for your own piece of mind I would go get it checked out by a doctor. after you have the facts then you should sit that chick down and have a talk with her to make sure shes comfortable with it and if she is it''s smooth sailin after that. Hope this helps

7/24/2003

!

go to the doctor and have it checked and by all means tell the girl before you have sex with her.

6/17/2004

!

I have the same thing and they are itchy as well, I believe it is Sebaceous glands and you shouldn''t worry about it.

this is not a question but its important!!! if your a guy and have a bump you need a biopsy!! its when they cut the bump and sent it to get results!! wemon can get a papsmear to know....and for wemon who dont have the virus they can now take 3 vacines to prevent exposure to the more severe forms of the virus but for men the onlything we have is biopsys cut it and test it!!!

8/29/2006

!

see your doctor first, and the be open with this girl after you get your results.

10/19/2006

!

its nothing to be worried about, there just hair follicles

5/16/2005

!

i reckon there molluscum,or known as the MCV viris, see a doctor they burn,or freeze em off, they last 2 to 5 years without treatment

1/15/2007

!

Hi, I hope this helps you but I have the exact same thing, even when I squeeze. You can relax, these should not be warts. These are quite common, they are called sebaceous glands, in teenagers and young men they are most common and tend to go away. I went to a doctor and she said that they definately wern''t warts. I have been sexually active with the same person for over a year now and nothing has happened.

I hope you feel better about that now!! :D

9/8/2007

!

maybe its a pimple

4/7/2004

!

You definitely need to see a doctor first. You should post pone any sexual relations with another person until you are sure you are not infected. Think of how uncomfortable you feelhaving these warts, would you want to be responsible for passing this discomfort on to someone else?

8/4/2004

!

I don''t think the bumps that you're talking about are warts. There is no white puss from warts. You probably have either ingrowns hairs or something else. Go to the doc and get it checked out. Sounds similar though to the small bumps surrounding the center of a womans nipple...which has white puss when squeezed. It's, in my understanding, natural lubricant in your pores in certain areas. But get it checked out just in case... and STOP squeezing.

7/1/2004

!

I think you should be open and honest with her - you don''t have the right to infect her with something horrible. It's not her fault. Be honest and open - get to know eachother on a person level and get yourself checked out - you may not even have anything...

10/1/2003

DOesn''t sound like warts if you can squeeze somthing out of them

Get it checked out and whatever you need to do for it.

Maybe she doesn''t want to have sex, don't assume...

7/29/2003

!

go to the doctor and find out what they are, before you tell her and before you have any sexual contact. you wouldn''t want to scare her off when it could be nothing.
I doubt very much if white stuff comes out of a wart.

9/8/2003

I am no doctor but it sounds like ingrown hair bump.they do not go away.

7/6/2003

You should go to the doctor first.. and get your diagnos... what if you tell her and then you find out you dont have it?? then your a fool.. if you do have it be safe and tell her.. she wont want it

8/4/2004

!

i think you might have something else, or just the worryes. I think u should tell ur girl, im a girl, and i would want u to tell me. u should also get it looked at asap by a doc, good luck!

7/19/2004

!

These are totally normal, you have nothing to worry about

4/26/2004

!

I suggest waiting to tell her right before you ask her to marry you.If you don''t plan on spending the rest of your life with her, don't bother with the complexities of sex and save yourself some trouble. Or if that won't be the case, go get checked so you can inform her correctly. It is her right to know what is going into her body. She at least deserves that.

6/21/2004

!

I got something like that checked out once. I was able to squeeze white stuff out of it. They told me that is was just a skin infection and not a std. Still get it checked out

7/25/2004

!

hey dipstick those are hair follicles just wait soon hair is gonna start coming. Some will get in grown but whatever you do dont shave it.

5/19/2008

!

No worries. Probably just ingrown hairs, enlarged hair follicles, or pearly papules. These are all normal and most men have them. Looks like raw chicken skin at times.

11/1/2006

!

Lord please tell her before!!!

10/5/2006

!

Are they small, or large? They could just be hair follicles.

11/3/2006

!

You get yourseslf checked out it is better to know than to not know at all if you had a daughter would you like her messing with a guy who had bumps on his penis and getting a disease she has to live with for the rest of her life.
Be smart not stupid do yourself a favor get checked out.

7/17/2006

!

Always let your partner know your concern before having sex, and see your doctor if worried.

11/1/2006

!

if you shave you can get razor burn and those bumps can get pretty big and also dispense white gunk

5/5/2005

!

I think they could be penile papules which are harmless and do not need to be treated. Do some research or see a doctor to be certain.

8/6/2005

!

see a doctor for sure. and talk about it.

3/16/2009

!

You should have sex ever day

3/19/2010
